If you believe your work was infringed
Send a written notice to our designated agent using the contact details below. To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- The URL or a description specific enough for us to locate the material.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
What we do next
We will remove or disable access to material we reasonably believe is infringing, and make a good-faith effort to notify the person who posted it. User-submitted prayer and praise posts can also be removed at any time on request through Your Privacy Choices.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the US, any district where we may be found). We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complaining party files a court action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.
