Anxiety & Worry

Biblical hope for when your mind won't slow down.

A Scripture

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7

A Little Hope

Anxiety is not a sign that your faith is failing. It is a sign that you are carrying something heavy. God does not ask you to stop feeling it. He asks you to hand it to Him, one honest sentence at a time. Peace is not the absence of the hard thing. It is the presence of the One who is holding you inside of it.

Pray This

Lord, You already know everything spinning in my mind right now. I am handing it to You instead of turning it over again. Quiet what I cannot quiet. Guard my heart and my thoughts today, and remind me that You are near even when I feel unsettled. Amen.

One Step Today

Write down the one worry that keeps circling. Say it out loud to God once, then take five slow breaths before you pick it back up.

Reflect

What am I most afraid will happen, and what would it look like to trust God with that exact thing today?
